inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Head of the Fiscal Policy Agency (BKF) of the Ministry of Finance Febrio Kacaribu guaranteed that the State Budget (APBN) remains safe despite the escalation of the Middle East conflict.

According to Febrio, the strengthening of the rupiah currency that has occurred recently and the decline in interest rates have also affected the stability of the APBN. Commodity prices that have declined compared to the middle of last year have also kept APBN safe until the end of the year.

Febrio ensured that the Ministry of Finance will continue to monitor economic developments in the future. The APBN will continue to be prepared as a shock absorber to be able to reduce the impact of global shocks on the national economy.

"The next challenge is of course how we anticipate and mitigate for 2025, which may remain the same," said the Head of BKF.

As of August 31, 2024, the APBN recorded a deficit of 0.68 percent of GDP with a value of IDR 153.7 trillion.

The realization of state revenue was recorded at IDR1,777 trillion, consisting of tax revenue of IDR1,379.8 trillion and non-tax state revenue (PNBP) of IDR383.8 trillion. Tax revenue reached IDR1,196.5 trillion, while customs and excise were IDR183.2 trillion.

Meanwhile, state spending was realized at IDR1,930.7 trillion. The realization of central government spending (BPP) was recorded at IDR1,368.5 trillion, consisting of ministry/institution (K/L) spending of IDR703.3 trillion and non-K/L spending of IDR665.2 trillion. Meanwhile, transfers to regions (TKD) were realized at IDR562.1 trillion.

Meanwhile, the primary balance recorded a surplus of IDR161.8 trillion.

In the 2025 State Budget Law, the Government has set a state revenue target of IDR 3,005.1 trillion, state spending of IDR 3,621.3 trillion, a deficit of IDR 616.19 trillion with a primary deficit balance of IDR 63.33 trillion, and budget financing of IDR 616.2 trillion.

Then tax revenue for 2025 is targeted to reach IDR 2,490.9 trillion, while Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) in 2025 is targeted to reach IDR 513.6 trillion.
