Inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar.  I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali announced on Saturday (2/8/2025)  that domestic flight operations have returned to normal following temporary disruptions caused by the eruptions of Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki and Mount Lewotolok in East Nusa Tenggara.

“Domestic flights that were delayed due to volcanic activity, especially to Labuan Bajo, have now resumed normal operations,” said Ahmad Syaugi Shahab, the General Manager of Ngurah Rai Airport, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Improved air conditions have allowed both domestic and international flights to operate smoothly and safely. Syaugi advised travelers to recheck their flight schedules with respective airlines and arrive at the airport 2–3 hours before departure.

Earlier in the day, six flights experienced delays, including Batik Air (Denpasar–Labuan Bajo), Wings Air (Denpasar–Tambolaka), and Lion Air (Denpasar–Kupang), while one AirAsia flight to Labuan Bajo was postponed.

Despite the eruptions, overall airport operations remained stable.
