inp.polri.go.id - Bengkulu. The Mukomuko Sub-regional Police Food Task Force is tightening supervision of rice sales to ensure they comply with the highest retail price (HET) set by the government.

"Supervision of rice sales in regional markets refers to National Food Agency Regulation Number 5 of 2024 concerning amendments to Regulation Number 7 of 2023," said Mukomuko Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Riky Crisma Wardana on Wednesday (1/7/2026).

National Food Agency Regulation Number 5 of 2024 concerning amendments to Regulation Number 7 of 2023, sets the HET for Bengkulu Zone II for medium rice at IDR 14,000 per kilogram and premium rice at IDR 15,400 per kilogram.

Furthermore, he believes that the more frequently the Food Task Force conducts market surveillance, the more they can ensure rice prices do not exceed the HET limits set by the government.

The Food Task Force of the Mukomuko Sub-regional Police Criminal Investigation Unit immediately visited traditional markets in Mukomuko Regency to ensure rice prices were in line with the highest retail price (HET).

He stated that this activity will continue throughout Mukomuko Regency, not only in Mukomuko Regency but throughout Indonesia.
