inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Manpower reminds all companies in Indonesia that employ foreign workers to comply with the regulations and mechanisms established by the government.

The Head of the Ministry of Manpower's Public Relations Bureau, Sunardi Manampiar Sinaga, stated that the approval of the Foreign Worker Utilization Plan (RPTKA) is a requirement that foreign workers must fulfill in order to work in Indonesia.

"We also urge workers and the public who are aware of any practices involving the use of foreign workers that do not comply with regulations to immediately report them to the Regional Manpower Office and/or the Ministry of Manpower for law enforcement," said Sunardi, Monday (10/27/2025).

He emphasized that collaboration through active public participation is crucial for overseeing the implementation of labor norms, including the use of foreign workers in Indonesia.

"The government desperately needs the support of the wider community," said Sunardi.

Previously, the government, through the Ministry of Manpower, expelled 94 foreign nationals working in the Sei Mangkei Special Economic Zone (KEK), Simalungun, North Sumatra, on Wednesday (10/22/2025).

The expulsion of the 94 foreign was witnessed by the Head of the Simalungun Manpower Office, Riando Purba, the Head of the North Sumatra Supervision Division, Sevline Rosdiana Butet, and the leadership of the Sei Mangkei KEK.

The Acting Director General of Supervision & Occupational Health and Safety (Binwasnaker) at the Ministry of Manpower, Ismail Pakaya, stated that the expulsion of the 94 foreign nationals, which attracts domestic and foreign investors, was due to the lack of RPTKA (Work Plan Work Plan) approval, as mandated by Government Regulation 34 of 2021 and Ministerial Regulation 08 of 2021 concerning the Use of Foreign Workers.
