inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura. In providing attention to the coastal communities the West Bangka Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Pradana Aditya Nugraha, instructed his personnel to build fishermen's hut in the Pantai Baru area, Muntok District, West Bangka Regency, on Saturday (10/25/2025).

The construction of this hut aims to provide the fishing community with a place to rest and gather after fishing.

During the construction, police personnel and the fishermen worked together to build the hut, creating a warm atmosphere of togetherness and a sense of family.

Pradana stated that this activity demonstrates the police's concern for the welfare of fishermen who work hard every day to earn a living at sea.

"We want the presence of the police to be truly felt by the community, not only in maintaining security, but also through concrete actions to help the community. We built this hut to support the fishermen's activities and strengthen the relationship between the National Police and coastal residents," said Pradana.

The fishermen enthusiastically welcomed the construction of the hut and expressed their gratitude for the attention of the West Bangka Sub-regional Police.

The construction of the fishermen's hut at Pantai Baru is expected to be the beginning of various social care programs from the West Bangka Police, which will continue to focus on service and community engagement.
