"Yes, it's still under investigation," explained the Head of INP Food Task Force, Brigadier General Helfi Assegaf, when confirmed on Thursday (7/10/2025).
He explained that the four rice producers being questioned were Wilmar Group for its Sovia Fortune product. The inspection was conducted after the INP Food Task Force examined 10 samples from Aceh, Lampung, South Sulawesi, Yogyakarta, and Greater Jakarta.
Then, PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya, which produces the Alfamidi Setra Pulen, Setra Ramos Premium Rice, Pulen Wangi Rice, Food Station, Ramos Premium, Setra Pulen, and Setra Ramos brands. The inspection was conducted after nine samples were taken from Aceh, South Sulawesi, South Kalimantan, and West Java.
Furthermore, PT Belitang Panen Raya, which produces Raja Platinum and Raja Ultima, was also questioned. The investigation was conducted after the investigative team took seven samples from South Sulawesi, Central Java, South Kalimantan, West Java, Aceh, and Greater Jakarta.
There was also an investigation of PT Sentosa Utama Lestari/Japfa Group Ayana. The investigation was conducted after three samples were taken from Yogyakarta and Greater Jakarta.
"Yes, that's right (the investigation was conducted on representatives of the four companies)," he said.
