Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Indonesian National Police (INP) revealed that Fredy Pratama, an international drug dealer, has been recruiting new members to establish a fresh drug distribution network. This came to light following the arrest of four suspects involved in drug networks in Central Java. Brigadier General Mukti Juharsa, the Director of the Narcotics Crime of the INP Criminal Investigation Agency, said on Wednesday (13/3/2024) that these four suspects from Central Java constitute a new network initiated by Fredy. According to him, Fredy is directly overseeing this new network, with a certain individual identified as L, a woman, believed to be its primary controller. "We are actively seeking a new intellectual figure, a woman who plays a crucial role in managing the new network," Chief Mukti emphasized, as reported by antaranews.com Furthermore, he disclosed that L is also responsible for recruiting individuals to join Fredy's drug network, most of whom are former convicts. Since the revelation of Fredy's network in September 2023 until March 2024, the INP have arrested 58 suspects connected to his criminal activities. Among them, 45 have progressed to the second stage of legal proceedings, with one in the initial stage. The INP have also been investigating money laundering offenses linked to Fredy's drug network, resulting in the seizure of assets worth Rp422.2 billion. The pursuit of Fredy, who remains at large, continues. A red notice has been issued, with authorities confident that he is in Thailand. (mg/inp/pr/nm)
