Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. A massive fire broke out on Perintis Kemerdekaan Street in Cianjur, West Java, on Saturday night(1/11/2025)  after a fuel truck collided with a water delivery truck, triggering an explosion that engulfed nearby buildings and vehicles. 

Six fire engines were dispatched to the scene to contain the blaze.

“Initial reports suggest the fuel truck carrying oil products collided with a mineral water truck, causing sparks that quickly turned into flames,” an official from the Cianjur Fire Department told antaranews.com . “The cause of the crash remains under investigation.”

The fire spread rapidly through several shop houses before firefighters managed to bring it under control. No official statement has been made regarding casualties, while authorities continue assessing the damage and investigating safety lapses that may have contributed to the incident. The accident disrupted traffic along the major Cianjur route for several hours.
