Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) stadium in Central Jakarta will serve as the main parking area during the 79th Bhayangkara Day celebrations at the National Monument (Monas) on Tuesday.

“We inform the public that the GBK stadium area will be used as a parking hub during the ceremony,” said Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police Traffic Director Senior Superintendent Komarudin on Saturday (28/6/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

He said the designated zones include the ring road, eastern parking lots, and areas near the baseball field, which can accommodate thousands of buses carrying official guests. Additional parking will be available at Istiqlal Mosque and nearby ministry buildings.

“With over 10,000 officers and a large number of guests expected, we aim to avoid any roadside parking,” he added, noting entertainment by national artists may also draw public crowds.

Authorities urged the public to use alternate routes and public transport during the event to reduce congestion.
