Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Inspector General Akhmad Wiyagus was inaugurated as Assistant to the Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief for Operations, replacing Commissioner General Imam Sugianto, on Monday (14/3/2025).

He previously served as West Java Regional Police Chief and was succeeded by Inspector General Rudi Setiawan. Commissioner General Imam Sugianto has been reassigned as a senior officer within the same division.

Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, the INP Public Relations’ Head of the Public Information Bureau, said that the rotation reflects the organization’s need for renewal and career development.

“This role is strategic in coordinating police operations nationwide. We are confident General Wiyagus will advance what has been achieved,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.
