inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo celebrates the INP Fighting Day and hopes that it would motivate all police members in serving the people and the country.
“I hope that this important moment would motivate all police members in giving their best to serve the people and the country,” says INP Chief on Wednesday (8/21/2024).
The celebration of INP Fighting Day, says General Sigit, is to honor the struggle of police predecessors who fought for Indonesian Independence.
“INP Fighting Day is our way to honor and commemorate the history and loyalty of our police heroes who gave their lives in fighting for Indonesian Independence,” explains Sigit.
The INP Fighting Day was celebrated in the INP Fighting Monument, Surabaya, East Java. The monument was first inaugurated on October 2nd, 1988 by the ABRI Commander, General Try Sutrisno. The monument was renovated and inaugurated on July 1st, 2018 by East Java Regional Police Chief Machmud Arifin.
