inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Karyoto leads the ceremony of Indonesian National Police (INP) Fighting Day at the Precision Field of the Traffic Directorate of Metro Jaya Regional Police on Wednesday (8/21/2024).

In his remarks, he notes that the fighting day was designated by the INP Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo in the INP Chief regulation Number 95/I/2024 concerning INP Fighting Day dated 22 January 2024. Then, in accordance with the INP Chief's Decree Number: KEP/1325/VIII/2024 dated 12 August 2024 concerning the Procedure for INP Fighting Day Ceremonies.

“Police Proclamation, to be one with the people in fighting for the August 17th, 1945 Proclamation, we hereby declare as the Indonesian Republic Police, Surabaya, August 21st, 1945 .On behalf of all the police, Moehamad Jasin, Class I Police Inspector," read Karyoto in reading the text of the Police Proclamation.

Karyoto notes that from the historical moment, he can point out that the Indonesian Police are from the people, thus making them participating in reclaiming and fighting for Indonesian Independence.

The ceremony of INP Fighting Day also becomes the commitment symbol of INP in always serving the people and the country, to maintain security and order to realize the 2045 Golden Indonesia.
