In preparation for the 2024 General Elections, the Gorontalo Regional Police organized a simulation of the City Security System, referred to as Sispamkota, at the David Tony Limboto Sports Arena in Gorontalo Regency on Tuesday (24/10/23). The initial demonstration featured motorcyclists going about their activities as usual. This was enacted to represent the activities leading up to the 2023-2024 elections, spanning 220 days and occurring progressively. The Chief of Gorontalo Regional Police said that the demonstration showcased the collaboration between the various units of the police force and other agencies, including the Indonesian Military. The current demonstration undoubtedly enhances the skills of personnel in ensuring the security of the elections. "This simulation signifies the initial phase in the sequence of security preparations leading up to the 2024 elections. In my capacity as the Chief of Gorontalo Regional Police, and in collaboration with the Regional Leadership Communication Forum of Gorontalo Province, we aspire to uphold both order and security throughout the electoral period.
