inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi stated that the State Palace has not yet discussed the name of the new Vice  Minister of Agriculture following Sudaryono's inauguration as Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN).

"Discussions have not yet been held because the appointment of the former official, Mr. Sudaryono, the Vice Minister of Agriculture who was appointed Head of BGN yesterday, was also only one day old," he said when met at the Indonesian Parliament Building in Jakarta on Thursday (7/23/2026).

He asked the public to wait for further developments.

President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Sudaryono as Head of BGN on Wednesday afternoon (7/22/2026), replacing Nanik Sudaryati Deyang, who resigned.

Sudaryono confirmed that he was relinquishing his position as Vice Minister of Agriculture to avoid any overlapping positions in government.

"Who will replace him, etc., is of course the President's prerogative," he said.

Meanwhile, Nanik's resignation from BGN was confirmed by Dirgayuza Setiawan, Special Assistant to the President for Communication and Policy, on Wednesday morning (7/22/2026).

In a statement posted on her social media, Nanik explained that her resignation was related to heart treatment abroad.
