inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Communication and Digital is collaborating with digital platform companies to make the Free Nutritious Meals program a success as part of efforts to create a digital ecosystem that has a social impact.
This program aims to enhance the access to healthy food for the community, especially school children in various regions.
"This collaboration shows the commitment of digital platforms to create a positive impact for the Indonesian people," said Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid.
The Minister of Communication and Digital also emphasized the importance of expanding the reach of the program to more regions and the Ministry of Communication and Digital stated its readiness to be a liaison in this effort.
"The Ministry of Communication and Digital is ready to be a liaison to encourage synergy between our digital platforms and ecosystems, so that this program can target areas in need," said the Minister Meutya.
The Free Nutritious Meal Program initiated by the Government of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka will begin in 2025 and is part of the priority agenda.
The program targets school children, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and toddlers, with a budget of Rp71 trillion managed by the National Nutrition Agency (BGN).
The goal is to provide free nutritious food, reduce malnutrition rates, and improve health and build the foundation of intelligence for the younger generation from an early age through nutritious food intake.
