Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Ministry of Communication and Digital has prepared a national roadmap to accelerate mastery of artificial intelligence (AI), aiming to shift the country from being a user to a producer of advanced technologies.

“This strategy begins with developing digital talent through nationwide training programs, partnerships with universities, and collaborations with global tech companies to transfer knowledge and expertise,” Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid said on Friday (15/8/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

The government expects the initiative to produce AI specialists capable of driving innovation, not only utilizing technology but also creating it. 

“With this strategy, Indonesia can leap forward, strengthen digital sovereignty, and secure a respected position in the global digital economy,” Minister Meutya added.

Alongside talent development, the Ministry will strengthen digital infrastructure and expand AI adoption in public services and key industries.
