Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian Train Inc. (KAI) extends Greater Jakarta operational hour to 22.55 pm addressing the growing enthusiasm and interest of the public. The Public Relations Manager of Greater Jakarta LRT, Mahendro Trang Bawono says that the extension will be applied from January 16th to January 31st, 2024. “The extension of the operational hours is our act in addressing public requests who want Greater Jakarta LRT line operation to be extended,” says Mahendro in Jakarta on Monday (1/15/2024). Moreover, the extension also hoped that it would peak public interest in using the LRT as their public transportation prime choice. Mahendro continues that the extension also affects the schedule of train first departure from Jatimulya Station to 05.22 am and 05.30 am for Harjamukti Station. Meanwhile, the last departure from Dukuh Station will be at 22.00 pm to Jatimulya Station and 22.05 to Harjamukti Station. “The schedule adjustment also affects the Greater Jakarta LRT schedule which adds into 264 travel schedules on working days and 240 on weekends,” adds Mahendro. On the other hand, with the new schedule adjustment also made the average travel time for the Greater Jakarta LRT trip 2 minutes faster. “With this new schedule adjustment, we want to accommodate public needs by not only providing comfortable public transportation, but also on-time, effective, and dependable,” says Mahendro.
