Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Women’s singles badminton player Gregoria Mariska Tunjung advanced to the quarterfinals of the India Open 2025 after defeating Japan’s Natsuki Nidaira 21-12, 24-22 in the round of 16 at KD Jadhav, New Delhi, on Thursday (16/1/2025).
In the first game, Gregoria dominated with swift attacks, taking an 11-6 lead at the interval and finishing 21-12. In the second game, she maintained control early, leading 11-8 at the interval. However, Nidaira fought back, capitalizing on Gregoria’s errors to close the gap.
