inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. MJ (44), the Head of Pemuda Pancasila (PP) Mass Organization of Blora Regency, was named a suspect in a case of alleged fraud in the procurement of fictitious industrial diesel fuel with losses reaching hundreds of millions of rupiah.

"Arrested on May 17, 2025 by the Operation Aman Candi 2025 Law Enforcement Task Force," said the Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Central Java Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Dwi Subagio in Semarang, Monday (5/19/2025).

Dwi stated that the case disclosure began with a report from a victim with the initials of WA, a resident of Kradenan, Blora Regency, on May 11, 2025.

According to Dwi, the victim reported to the police after being deceived by the perpetrator's promise of procuring fictitious industrial diesel fuel.

Furthermore, Dwi revealed the perpetrator's modus operandi in the crime, namely by establishing cooperation agreement in the procurement of diesel fuel by claiming to be the public relations of a company and promising to make deliveries.

"In fact, the company in question has not been operating since 2022," he said.

The perpetrator, he continued, asked for a deposit of a sum of money, promising to send the diesel.

"The victim was promised a supply of diesel if he deposited a sum of money in the period from August to September 2022," he added.

The total loss suffered by the victim reached IDR 333 million.

In addition to MJ, the police also arrested WH (45), another perpetrator who allegedly helped convince the victim.

For their actions, the two suspects were charged with Article 378 of the Criminal Code concerning fraud or Article 382 of the Criminal Code concerning embezzlement.

The Director of Criminal Investigation added that the disclosure of the case was a form of the Central Java Regional Police's commitment to eradicating thuggery, especially those under the guise of mass organizations.
