inp.polri.go.id - Bandar Lampung. The Lampung Province National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) destroyed 14.9 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine evidence from the Aceh-Mesuji network in Lampung.

"The confiscated crystal methamphetamine weighing 14,928.36 grams or 14.9 kilograms is the total of drugs from narcotics crime case that was successfully uncovered by the Lampung Province BNN in the first quarter (January-March) 2025," said Head of the Lampung Province National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) Norman Widjajadi, quoted by Antaranews, Monday (5/19/2025).

It was revealed that the evidence that was destroyed had previously been set aside for laboratory sample testing purposes as well as for the trial as much as 23.13 grams of the total evidence weighing 14.9 kilograms.

"This evidence comes from the disclosure of a narcotics crime case of the Aceh-Mesuji network. The two courier suspects are from Aceh with the initials HM aged 42 years and a 49-year-old man with the initials MU were already detained from the case," he said.

For the drug dealer suspect from Mesuji Lampung, is a 29-year-old man with the initials of H, while someone with the initials B who is on the wanted list as he acts as the main perpetrator from Malaysia.

The three suspects were charged with Article 115 paragraph (2) subsidiary Article 114 paragraph (2), more subsidiary Article 112 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a maximum penalty of the death penalty or life imprisonment.

With the disclosure of the case and the destruction of evidence, according to him, it has saved around 250,000 lives from drug abuse.
