Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. A viral Facebook post claiming that PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has officially restricted subsidized Pertalite fuel purchases for motorcycles to a maximum of IDR 50,000 per transaction is false.

"Until now, there is no policy regarding restrictions on purchasing Pertalite fuel, either for two-wheeled or four-wheeled vehicles," said Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Roberth MV Dumatubun.

He clarified that the government has not issued any regulations restricting Pertalite sales based on specific vehicle brands or engine capacities, ensuring the public can purchase fuel normally.

The state-owned energy company confirmed that no such purchase caps exist, debunking the social media rumors.
