inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The 2025 Hoegeng Awards Ceremony was held at the Mutiara Auditorium of the Indonesian National Police (PTIK) in South Jakarta on Wednesday evening (July 16, 2025).

This event was a form of appreciation for the collaboration between the Indonesian National Police (INP) and Detikcom, recognizing police officers who are deemed to have demonstrated outstanding achievements and dedication in carrying out their duties within the community.

The Hoegeng Awards are prestigious awards that emphasize exemplary behavior, integrity, innovation, and community service, particularly in remote areas and vulnerable groups.

This year, more than 10,000 exemplary police officers from across Indonesia were submitted through an open submission process, which ran from January to March 2025.

After a series of verification processes by detikcom and a rigorous selection process by the 2025 Hoegeng Awards Expert Council, 15 top nominees were selected. These nominations then underwent a public hearing, and five police officers were named as the award winners.

The five recipients of the 2025 Hoegeng Awards were announced in the categories of Police with Integrity, Innovative Police, Dedicated Police, Border and Interior Police, and Police Protecting Women and Children.

In his remarks, the Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm and dedication of the police officers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty.

"It is important for all of us to maintain public trust by adhering to the values inherited from General Hoegeng, a symbol of integrity and exemplary behavior in the Indonesian police force," the National Police Chief emphasized.
