inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Densus 88 Anti-Terror unit says the terrorist, HOK (19), who was arrested in Batu, Malang, East Java, is part of ISIS supporters. This was revealed after police interrogation on HOK following his arrest on Wednesday (7/31/2024) night.
“HOK is ISIS or Daulah Islamiyah supporter,” says the spokesperson of Densus 88, Brigadier General Aswin Siregar when confirmed on Thursday (8/1/2024).
According to him, the investigators of Densus 88 are still investigating the case and searching HOK links with other terrorist groups that support ISIS.
On the other hand, Aswin also conveys that the family of HOK was also secured during the raid. However, they were only for examination to strengthen the evidence of criminal action committed by HOK.
“Indeed there are several people that we have questioned, including his parents and family,” said Aswin.
