inp.polri.go.id - West Java. The Indonesian Vice President Ma’ruf Amin appreciates the Indonesian National Police (INP) Densus 88 Anti-Terror Unit for thwarting a terrorist attack in Malang.

“We appreciate the Densus 88 Anti-terror unit who are able to arrest the terrorist before the attack. We are truly grateful as we are able to save many lives from the terrorist attack,” said the Indonesian VP in his written statement on Thursday (8/1/2024).

On the other hand, Ma’ruf Amin notes that Indonesia has seen fewer terrorist attacks , thanks to effective prevention efforts.

“I think it's been quite a long time since we had a terrorist attack? This is good and we pray that terrorist attack prevention efforts continue to be implemented,” wished Ma’ruf Amin.

He underscores that terrorist attacks violate state laws and religious teachings. He continued that the effort in preventing terrorism in Indonesia is the responsibility of all.
