Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Maintenance and Security Agency (Baharkam) Chief, Fadil Imran ensure all police personnel is neutral in 2024 General Elections. He stressed that the neutrality has been regulated at Telegram Letter (ST) Number 2407/X/2023. This was stated by Fadil during a hearing meeting with Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) Third Commission in discussing 2024 General Elections security preparations. “INP has released guidelines for its members in accordance to the ST Number 2407/X/2023,” says Firli during the meeting. According to Firli, the INP neutrality issue has been surfaced during the election. In response to the issue, INP then released the ST as a firm statement and to prevent any INP members from violating and tainting state democracy. “(ST) has become the guidelines for all INP members in maintaining neutrality during 2024 General Elections,” he said.
