inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo directly reviewed the implementation of the Affordable Food Movement at the Indonesian National Police (INP) Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) in Pabelan, Semarang Regency, Tuesday (9/22/2025). This activity is part of police's support for the government's program to maintain the stability of food availability and affordability.

In the event attended by around 500 people, the police together with the State Logistics Agency (Bulog) distributed 6 tons of SPHP rice and other staple foods at prices lower than market prices. For example, rice that is IDR 70,000 per sack in the market is sold for IDR 58,000 through the GPM program.

"The Central Java Regional Police helped distribute approximately 20,000 tons of SPHP rice prepared by Bulog. The total for the National Police itself is 72,567 tons distributed to 54,454 locations. Of course, we hope this program is useful for maintaining food availability and stabilizing prices," said the National Police Chief during a doorstop at the location.

The INP Chief also revealed that the price of medium-sized rice in Central Java is largely in line with the Highest Retail Price (HET).

The activity at the Pabelan SPPG also served as an opportunity for the INP Chief to monitor the operational readiness of the police SPPG kitchen to support the Free Nutritious Menu program and strengthen national food security.
