In Three Days Lampung Regional Police Arrested 25 Robbers

inp.polri.go.id - Lampung. Lampung Regional Police have intensified their prosecution against street crime perpetrators, especially robbers. Within 3 days, more than 20 suspects were arrested by the Lampung Regional Police. “Based on the our data, Resort Police succeeded to disclose 14 cases of C3 with 25 suspects,” as said by Head of Public Affairs Division Lampung Regional Police Police Grand Commissioner Pandra Arsyad, Monday (05/23/21). Chief of Lampung Regional Police Police Inspector General Hendro Sugiatno, orderd his officers to take action against the perpretators of special theft –known as Curat (pencurian dengan pemberatan) , theft with violence –known as Curas (pencurian dengan kekerasan), and motor vehicle theft –known as Curanmor (pencurian kendaraan bermotor). The three crimes is commonly referred as C3 by the police. Chief of Lampung Regional Police asked his officers to take firm action against the C3 perpetrators and secure Lampung Regional Police's jurisdiction of any crimes as the criminals are disturbing community. Pandra said the Lampung Regional Police are trying their best to provide security for the community so that people do not take any harmful actions such as the burning of Candipuro Sector Police Headquarter couple days ago. The operation to catch the C3 actors was conducted since Thursday to Saturday (May 21-23). In this operation, the two suspects were shot and one was dead of attacking an officer. Pondra appealed to all the C3 actors who are in hiding to immediately surrender. “No space for criminals particularly C3 in the Lampung Regional Police jurisdiction. We will chase them to the ant’s hole,” he said. Below are the C3 cases succesfully revealed by the Lampung Regional Police: 1. Bandar Lampung City Resort Police revealed C3 cases with four (4) suspects; 2. Tulang Bawang Barat (Tubaba) revealed one C3 case. A suspect suffered of gunshot for fighting officer; 3. Way Kanan Resort Police revealed one case of firearm possession and sharp weapon with seven suspects; 4. North Lampung Resort Police revealed three C3 cases with four suspects; 5. Lampung Timur Resort Police revealed three C3 cases with four suspects. A suspect suffered of gunshot for fighting officer; 6. Tanggamus Resort Police revealed one C3 case with four suspects; 7. Lampung Tengah Resort Police revealed one C3 case with one suspect. The suspect died of gunshot for fighthing the officer. Previously, Chief of Lampung Regional Police, Police Inspector General Hendro Sugianto asked the Chiefs of Sector and Resort Police to arrest street crimes perpetrators of, especially begal (robbers looting on the street) . This order was issued after the Candipuro Police Sector in South Lampung was burned. “I once again say that for the next month Chief of Lampung Regional Police mentions we will take action to begal cases we call C3 without exception,” as said by Head of Public Affairs Lampung Regional Police Police Grand Commissioner Zahwani Pandra Arsyad on Friday (05/21). This order was issued by Hendro so that the public felt police’s maximum service in terms of regional security from bandits. The Head of Public Affairs Lampung Regional Police said that Hendro did not want the burnt of Candipuro Sector Police was ever happened again. In this case, 14 perpetrators were arrested. Of these, 10 people have been decided as suspects. They act as provocateurs and perpetrators of the burning. In fact, many residents eventually joined even though they did not know the problem. On Thursday (05/21) Tekab 308 Tanggamus Resort Police arrested 4 perpetrators who were suspected of committing the crime of curas at Cuku Pandan Beach. The four perpetrators were RY, SR, ED, IJ, and all of them are residents of Pekon Sukabanjar Kota Agung. The perpetrators stopped the victim Alwi Husin from going to Cuku Pandan beach with his female friends. They then took the victim's money and damaged the victim’s motorbike starter.
