Jambi Regional Police succeeded in thwarting the smuggling of lobster seed (baby lobster) worth around 20 billion rupiah in the eastern coast of Jambi.   In operation lead directly by Chief of Tanjung Jabung Resort Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Guntur Saputro, police managed to secure 36 boxes of styrofoam containing 135 thousand sand-type lobster seed in a hull of a small-machine wooden boat on the estuary of Kuala Betara river, West Tanjung Jabung.   The operation, which began in the morning to noon, succeeded in arresting four men on a wooden sailing boat, delivering the seeds to a passenger ship, a large engine speed boat waiting on the outer of the edge of the sea in the east coast of Sumatera,” as explained by the Chief of Tanjung Jabung Resort Police.   The four men are Abdul Amad, 50 years, Musliyadi, 40 years, Erwin Saputra, 27 years, and Yasmin, 41 years. They are the resident of West Tanjung Jabung, who were suspected as smugglers accomplice.   “It was the community who reported the case. They informed there was a small-engined wooden boat tried to smuggle lobster seed on the east coast of Tanjab Barat on Friday dawn,” he concluded the interview.
