North Sulawesi Police Chief Urges Indigenous Groups to Maintain Security

Inp.polri.go.id - Manado.  The Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police Inspector General Yudhiawan has called upon indigenous organizations in the region to contribute to maintaining peace and order. "The Police are inviting all of you to collaborate in preserving the security situation in Sulut," he said during a gathering with indigenous organizations in North Sulawesi on Tuesday (23/1/2024) Chief Yudhiawan emphasized the need to create a peaceful and secure atmosphere in the province, highlighting North Sulawesi's natural beauty and extraordinary landscapes. He recalled the influx of Chinese tourists to North Sulawesi before the COVID-19 pandemic and expressed hope for a revival of tourism, contributing to Sulut's economic growth. "Let us work together to ensure the security of North Sulawesi remains conducive," he said. Chief Yudhiawan emphasized the role of police officers as exemplary figures in society, stating that any misconduct would be dealt with firmly. Hanny Pantouw, the Chairman of Laskar Manguni Indonesia (LMI), expressed appreciation for the initiative, assuring their support in maintaining security in the province.
