Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Indo Defence 2025 expo, held from 11–14 June 2025 in Jakarta, concluded with 17 signed contracts between Indonesia’s Ministry of Defence and local companies, including state-owned enterprises, aimed at strengthening domestic military capability.

“This shows the government’s commitment to supporting our domestic defence industry by prioritizing local procurement,” said Rear Admiral Sri Yanto, the Director General of Defence Potential, at the closing press conference on Saturday (14/6/2025), as reported by antaranews.com.

The contracts involve the procurement and development of defense systems across the army, navy, and air force. In addition to contracts, 55 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) were signed among defense companies participating in the expo, covering joint technology development and defense human capital enhancement.

While Commander Sri Yanto did not disclose the contract values or specific project details, he emphasized that the MoUs represent strategic opportunities for Indonesian firms to expand their technological capabilities and global reach.

This year’s expo featured 1,180 companies from 55 countries, including major defense partners like the U.S. and Turkey.
