Inp.polri.go.id - Doha. Indonesia’s U-17 national football team suffered a heavy 0–4 defeat against Brazil in their second Group H match at the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup held at Aspire Zone, Doha, on Friday night (7/11/2025).
Brazil quickly dominated, scoring three goals in the first half through Luis Eduardo, an own goal by Putu Panji, and Felipe Morais. The fourth goal came in the 75th minute when Ruan Pablo’s long-range strike sealed the win for the Seleção.
“This was a tough match against a world-class team. Our players showed fighting spirit, but we need to improve our defense and ball control,” said Indonesia coach Carlos Patetuci after the game, as quoted by antaranews.com.
With this result, Indonesia remains at the bottom of Group H with zero points from two matches, while Brazil leads with six points. Indonesia will need a win in their final group match to keep their hopes of advancing alive.
