This message was conveyed by him while attending the 81st Indonesian Independence Day celebration and meeting with the extended family of the NKRI Satya Garda on Sunday (8/30/2026).

The NKRI Satya Garda is a forum for former members and sympathizers of Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) who have affirmed their commitment to nationalism and pledged allegiance to Indonesia. Through this organization, they commit to playing a positive role in maintaining public order and security, safeguarding unity, and contributing to society, the nation, and the state.

"We have a shared home called the NKRI, with doors always open for every citizen to play a role and strive to reshape and build this country's future," said the INP Chief.

The INP Chief stated that the diversity of religions, ethnicities, cultures, regions, and backgrounds is a national treasure that must be continuously preserved.

According to him, unity is the main asset for making Indonesia stronger, more advanced, and more respected.

Chief Sigit also encouraged all elements of society to celebrate independence through real work and dedication, both for their families, their communities, and for the nation and state.

He hopes this spirit of unity will continue to grow so that every citizen can play a role in maintaining unity, public order and security, and supporting national development.
