Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia has sent 329 healthcare workers to Germany under the “Triple Win” program, Minister of Foreign Sugiono said on Wednesday (20/8/2025) after a bilateral meeting with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul in Jakarta.
“Building on this success, we are also taking the initiative to expand the deployment of Indonesian migrant workers in the hospitality sector,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.
The Government-to-Government program, run by Indonesia’s Migrant Worker Protection Agency (BP2MI) and Germany’s Federal Employment Agency (BA), benefits Indonesia, Germany, and the workers themselves.
Minister Wadephul highlighted Germany’s support through extensive language training and praised state health college Poltekkes, which collaborates with the Ministry of Health and Goethe-Institut to prepare nursing graduates with German-language skills for the Ausbildung pathway.
“Indonesia is an increasingly important partner for Germany and Europe in a world full of major challenges,” Minister Wadephul said at a public discussion following his bilateral talks with Minister Sugiono, where both ministers addressed economic, security, and Indo-Pacific cooperation.
