Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia has formally requested Singapore to oppose the bail application filed by Paulus Tannos, a fugitive in the electronic ID corruption case.
Widodo, the Director General of General Legal Administration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, said on Monday (2/6/2025) that Singapore’s Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) is acting on Indonesia’s request to contest Tannos’ petition in court.
Tannos remains in detention in Singapore, where his committal hearing is scheduled for June 23–25, 2025. Indonesia submitted an extradition request on 20 February 2025, followed by additional documentation on 23 April 2025.
“The legal process is ongoing. Tannos has not agreed to voluntary surrender,” Widodo said, as quoted by antaranews.com.
