Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia’s badminton team won four championships in both singles and doubles events at the 2025 Cameroon International Challenge, held at Gymnase Multisports de Mfandena, Yaoundé, from 21–24 August 2025..
“I’m very happy to deliver another victory for Indonesia. The opponents here were tough, but I learned a lot from each match,” said women’s singles champion Thalita Ramadhani Wiryawan on Tuesday (26/8/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
In men’s singles, Prahdiska Bagas Shujiwo defeated Kazakhstan’s Dmitriy Panarin 21-13, 21-7, while Thalita overcame India’s Anmoll Kharb 21-11, 21-19. The women’s doubles crown went to Isyana Syahira Meida/Rinjani Kwinnara Nastine, who beat compatriots Nabila Cahya Permata Ayu/Nahya Muhyifa 21-15, 21-14.
In mixed doubles, M. Nawaf Khoiriyansyah/Nahya Muhyifa edged fellow Indonesians Bimo Prasetya/Arlya Nabila Thesya Munggaran 21-12, 11-21, 21-19.
The victories followed Indonesia’s clean sweep in Ghana a week earlier, as the squad now heads to Nigeria for the Lagos International Classics 2025.
