Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian Army (TNI AD) has deployed 34 personnel to join an Institutional Food Management Training at the Army Combat Service Support Command (CSSCOM) in Singapore from 13 to 18 October 2025, as part of efforts to strengthen the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program initiated by President Prabowo Subianto.
“The knowledge and practices gained will be applied to ensure the success of the MBG program,” said Army Spokesperson Brigadier General Wahyu Yudhayana in a statement on Sunday (12/10/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The training covers food preparation, food safety, food nutrition, and food technology, including field visits to military and commercial food facilities in Singapore. Participants will later develop technical guides and apply institutional food management systems within the Army’s Nutrition Program Units.
Chief Wahyu emphasized that the initiative supports both troop welfare and Indonesia’s national food security goals, promoting a healthier, more productive generation.
