Battalion Infantry 133/Yudha Sakti has seized the West Papua National Liberation Army Kodap IV/Sorong Raya headquarters, known as the Armed Criminal Group (KKB), led by Manfred Fatem in Sagu village, Far East Aifat, Maybrat Regency, Southwest Papua. Lieutenant Colonel Andhika Ganessakti, Commander of Task Force Yonif 133/Yudha Sakti, confirmed on Saturday (27/1/2024) the successful seizure of the KKB Headquarters led by Staff Sergeant Dega Jandri Folanda and Sergeant Dimas Nuhali Pardosi, following days of patrols and ambushes. The week-long operation to locate the KKB headquarters commenced on January 21, 2024. Despite the group managing to evade the forces, the headquarters was successfully seized and destroyed, he explained. During the operation, Yudha Sakti forces secured evidence such as a Morning Star flag, six rounds of 5.56mm ammunition, a telescope, a solar cell, flashlights, two KIS cards, three mobile chargers, a camera lens, a mobile phone, a bow and arrows, along with food supplies and various medications. Additionally, the Mobile Sakti Team arrested two individuals actively supporting the KKB in the Aisa village forest, Far East Aifat District.
