Inp.polri.go.id - Papua. A major security disruption in Intan Jaya Regency, Papua, following an armed criminal group (KKB) incident that involved the shooting of police personnel. Reports indicate that the Operation Damai Cartenz Task Force has successfully neutralized seven KKB members, led by Undius Kagoya as Pangkodap VIII in the Intan Jaya region. "We managed to engage individuals from the KKB who were involved in the attack on the Tigamajigi Post in Sugapa," stated Police Senior Superintendent Faizal Ramadhani,the Head of Operation Damai Cartenz, on Friday (26/1/2024). He said that as the situation stabilizes in Intan Jaya Regency and the community can safely return, refuge options will be made available. (ar/ri/pr/nm)
