Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Indonesian National Police (INP) issued a major reshuffle involving 54 high-ranking and mid-level officers on Friday, notably reassigning former Bima City Sub-regional Police Chief Superintendent Didik Putra Kuncoro, to the INP’s Public Service unit.

The rotation includes promotions, retirements, and disciplinary demotions. Officer Didik’s reassignment responded to a Code of Ethics Commission ruling recommending his dishonorable discharge due to involvement in a narcotics case.

"The transfer of Superintendent Didik to the Public Service  unit is intended to streamline the administrative process for his dishonorable discharge, which is currently underway," said Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir, the Head of the INP Public Relations Division, on Saturday (28/2/2026) as cited by antaranews.com.

Other significant changes include the replacement of the Sleman City Sub-regional Police Chief Senior Superintendent Edy SE Wibowo following a controversial mugging case.

Chief Johnny explained that these rotations are standard organizational dynamics aimed at career development, institutional refreshment, and enhancing professional services for the public.
