Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Para-cyclists delivered a stellar performance at the Asian Para Road Cycling Championship 2025 in Phitsanulok, Thailand, securing five gold, two silver, and one bronze medal from six competing athletes.
“All our athletes won medals, contributing national points toward qualification for the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympics,” said head coach Rizan Setyo Nugroho on Thursday (13/2/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
Muhammad Fadli Imammuddin stood out, winning two golds in men’s C4 individual time trial and road race. Sufyan Saori added another gold in the men’s C5 time trial.
In the B category for visually impaired cyclists, Nur Fendi and pilot Mufti Fadilah secured silver in the men’s time trial, while 16-year-old debutant Zulaikha, with Imelda Tabita as her pilot, claimed silver in the women’s road race.
Anwar Annaja, another newcomer, earned bronze in the men’s C5 time trial.
