inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno stated that life expectancy for Indonesians has increased sharply.

"Over those 80 years, we have achieved many achievements, especially in the areas I am responsible for, human development and culture. This includes life expectancy, which has increased sharply over the past 80 years," said the Coordinating Minister during Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day celebration. on Monday (8/18/2025).

The Coordinating Minister also stated that the administration of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka has placed significant emphasis on human resources.

"Especially in health, from hospitals in remote areas, adding more doctors, to free health checks," he explained.

He also appreciated the lively carnival filled with various entertainment for the public which involved parties that participated in the 80th anniversary celebrations.
