Inp.polri.go.id - Ankara. At least nine individuals, including seven Indonesian nationals, are missing after a fishing vessel capsized off the southern coast of Tongyeong City in South Korea on Saturday (9/3/2024).
Nine crew members, including seven Indonesians, were aboard the 29-ton vessel when it overturned in the morning in waters located 68 kilometers south of the Tongyeong island area, South Gyeongsang Province, as reported by antaranews.com.
Two crew members were found unconscious inside the vessel and have been taken to the hospital.
Meanwhile, search operations for the remaining crew members are still ongoing.
South Korean authorities have not provided additional information regarding the nationality of the other two crew members.
