Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) is fast-tracking the establishment of 200 Nutrition Service Units (SPPG) nationwide by the end of 2025 to support President Prabowo Subianto’s flagship Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) initiative.
“As directed by the INP Chief at the Bhayangkara Day celebration on 1 July 2025, we are pushing for SPPGs in every regional police office to fulfill the national food security agenda,” said Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, the INP General Supervision Inspector, on Tuesday (8/7/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The INP is adopting a pentahelix collaboration model, involving government, academia, private sector, civil society, and media. The Health and Medical Center of the INP (Dokkes) will lead nutritional innovation and sustainable food access.
On Monday, the INP launched four new SPPG sites in Central Kalimantan, aiming to serve 3,500 recipients and create 47 jobs per unit.
By June, 139 SPPGs were already built—surpassing the 2025 target of 100—with 18 operational and others under verification or construction.
