Inp.polri.go.id - Cimahi. The Security Maintenance Agency of the Indonesian National Police (INP) collaborated with the Cimahi Sub-regional Police to hold a Low-cost Food Movement at the Cimahi Police Headquarters on Monday (10/8/2026).
"Through the distribution of SPHP rice and MinyakKita oil, we hope to support daily household needs and maintain community purchasing power," said Security Maintenance Agency’s Head of Community Guidance Bureau Inspector General Mardiyono.
Hundreds of Cimahi residents attended the strategic event to obtain quality staple foods sold below market prices. Police distributed five tons of Food Supply and Price Stabilization (SPHP) rice along with hundreds of liters of MinyakKita cooking oil.
The event also featured local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) showcasing regional products to stimulate local economic growth.
Chief Mardiyono confirmed that similar market interventions will be conducted periodically across West Java to prevent staple food shortages and maintain price stability.
