Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The task force of Nusantara Cooling System (NCS) held a meeting with one of well-known religious figure, Ustaz Das’ad Latief. During the meeting, the chief NCS task force, Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri, states that ahead of 2024 General Elections, the cooling system effort must be carried out together, which requires a strong cooperation with religious figures. According to him, religious figure has a vital role in suppressing sensitive issues or provocations during the elections. This role is aimed to prevent polarization and disintegration. “We wished for Das’ad Latif support in helping us, particularly for NCS operation,” said Asep in his written statement on Friday, (9/29/2023). Das’ad Latif himself welcomes the positive initiation from the Police for their effort in safeguarding 2024 Elections. Through his speeches, Das’ad will calls the community to jointly safeguard the situation and unity of the state ahead and during the elections.
