inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) has stated its readiness to deploy additional personnel to assist in the Hajj Pilgrimage Protection (Linjam) as requested by the Ministry of Hajj. The personnel assigned will be adjusted based on their capacity and competency.
"The INP's Human Resources Development Agency (SSDM) has also coordinated to prepare the best personnel," said Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, Head of Public Information Bureau of INP Public Relations Division, Tuesday (1/13/2026).
Trunoyudo stated that INP will always be ready to provide protection for the Hajj pilgrims. Although the number of personnel assigned has not yet been confirmed.
"We will certainly be tasked with serving and providing protection to the Indonesian people, especially those who will be performing the Hajj pilgrimage," he said.
Previously, Vice Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, stated that the additional personnel were a direct order from President Prabowo Subianto. He stated that the additional Hajj officers from the Indonesian National Military and INP were intended to strengthen the protection of pilgrims.
