Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) has initiated certification training for junior officers in its Public Relations Division, building on previous competency programs.
Brigadier General I Komang Sandi Arsana, SeniorPublic Relations Official of the INP Public Relations Division, explained that the certification is the first step towards its implementation at the regional level.
"This isn't just about certification; it's about enhancing the PR knowledge of all our colleagues," he said on Wednesday (28/2/2024).
The effort to enhance PR capabilities is part of ongoing initiatives led by the Chief of INP Public Relations Division, Inspector General Sandi Nugroho. Competency training was earlier provided for non-commissioned officers to bolster their skills amidst evolving challenges.
The focus on improving PR skills linked to the Precision INP Public Relations e-Learning platform, providing access to various learning materials and enabling competency assessments and learning sessions.
The Precision Public Relations Portal serves as a digital platform integrating all applications, online media, and social media channels. It functions as a reliable source of information for the public, media, and INP personnel.
Enhancing personnel competence has been a priority for INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo as part of the 16 priority programs, particularly focusing on public communication skills for Polri members.
