INP Chief Appoints Two New Regional Police Chiefs

Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has appointed two new regional police chiefs as part of a reshuffle involving 67 high- and mid-ranking officers.

“This rotation is part of our routine efforts to refresh the organization and enhance the police force’s effectiveness, professionalism, and public service performance,” said INP Public Relations Head Division of Public Information Bureau Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko on Wednesday (21/5/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

Inspector General Didik Agung Widjanarko has been named the new chief of Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police, replacing Inspector General Dwi Irianto, who is entering retirement. Previously, General Widjanarko served as a senior officer assigned to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

In East Nusa Tenggara, Inspector General Rudi Darmoko replaces Inspector General Daniel Tahi Monang Silitonga, who now heads the Police Staff Education and Training Institute..

The reshuffle also includes promotions for eight officers to inspector general, 32 to brigadier general, and eight to senior superintendent. Ten officers are retiring.
