inp.polri.go.id - East Java. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo called on all elements of the country to unite in facing the current global situation. He stated that with unity, Indonesia can face all threats to realize Indonesia Emas 2045.

This was conveyed by him during a gathering and Ramadan safari with the Indonesian Trade Union Association (KSPSI) in Surabaya, East Java, on Tuesday (3/10/2026).

Sigit urged fellow labor unions, especially those from KSPSI, to remain vigilant and united in facing the global situation, as global oil prices continue to rise.

"Of course, the global situation will have implications for the domestic economy. Therefore, facing conditions like this, we, the government, society, and especially our fellow workers, must all stand united in facing the current situation," said Sigit.

General Sigit stated that the government has undertaken various efforts to conduct peace diplomacy to safeguard the global economy and Indonesia.

Furthermore, Sigit said, the government is also continuing to promote self-sufficiency in both food and energy so that Indonesia can be self-sufficient and not dependent on other countries.

"And to achieve all of this, of course, requires unity. It requires unity, it requires togetherness from all elements of the nation," he said.

Sigit explained that Indonesia had faced a difficult situation several years ago, such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
