inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo together with Minister of Agriculture Amran Sulaiman inspected Bulog's food warehouse in Tanete Riattang, South Sulawesi, Friday (5/16/2025).

"We certainly strongly support the food security program which is one of the Asta Cita programs," said Sigit quoted by Antaranews.

Sigit said the visit was carried out in order to ensure food stocks in order to realize the food security program.

"We have also made various efforts to support the sustainability of the food security program. One of the things that has been done is planting corn in several areas in the region," he said.

Not only that, Sigit also ordered his staff to monitor and accompany parties running the food security program in the region.

In addition, Sigit also tried to facilitate the equipment needed for the sustainability of the food security program.

Sigit confirmed this after he heard the aspirations of farmers who needed drying equipment during his visit.

"We will encourage it to be prepared so that farmers can get better quality farming because there is already a dryer when stored," explained Sigit.

Furthermore, Sigit reiterated that the police are ready to provide the assistance needed for the sustainability of the food security program.

He also hopes that all the assistance that the police have provided so far can help the central government realize strong food security.
